Spring 2027

The Spring 2027 lessons connect scholarship with ways of learning, supporting others, and contributing to community life. The tentative topics include gospel literacies, literacy activism in the twenty-first century, mentoring and tutoring, and nonprofit fundraising and management. These topics bring forward the Community Classroom’s commitment to Ubuntu, a philosophy of shared humanity often expressed as “I am because we are,” and to “each one, teach one” and “each one, reach one.”

Participants of all racial and cultural backgrounds are welcome, and no prior knowledge of these subjects is required. The Spring topics and their order remain tentative as the curriculum develops.
